Con-man Nicky Spurgeon (Will Smith), meets the gorgeous Jess Barrett (Margot Robbie), an inexperienced grifter, at a top notch night club. After Jess fails to con Nicky following her successful seduction ploy, they part ways.

Some time later, after testing Jess on her skills, Nicky invites her to become a member of his team of scammers. Following a stint of ripping people off left, right and centre, Nicky closes up shop, thanks everyone for their great work and goes to a football game with Jess where they perform an almighty sting. On leaving the Superdome with millions, Nicky thanks Jess for a great job, and disappears into the sunset leaving Jess behind. The rest of the movie is filled with more scams, a few twists and turns, some fast cars, hot women and more scams. Will Smith makes being a criminal look awesome and makes it look so easy.

The Movie Lad rates this: 3 out of possible 5 scumbags ripping folks off
