Alan Rickman

21 February 1946 – 14 January 2016

Die Hard was the first movie I saw Alan Rickman unleash his talent on the world. Hans Gruber was one of those villains you just couldn’t help liking. Starring in almost as many movies as years he lived, Rickman had one of those entrancing voices that was instantly recognisable.

He will be missed.
