With a career spanning over six decades, John Hurt appeared in over 140 movies.

I especially loved him in Alien, The Elephant Man, Nineteen Eighty-Four, Midnight Express, and Nick Cave’s, The Proposition. His unmistakable, refined British voice, was also the highlight of many a documentary. Looking forward to seeing him posthumously in several productions that he was involved in, up until his death last week.

He will be greatly missed.
